WEST HARTFORD- Puppets aren’t just for kids anymore when Playhouse on Park presents Avenue Q with music and lyrics by Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez and book by Jeff Whitty. Opening night is Friday, September 15th at 8pm with a complimentary pre-performance wine and cheese reception from 7pm-8pm.

This hysterical and relatable show tells the story of Princeton, a recent college graduate, after he moves into an apartment on Avenue Q. This roller-coaster of a comedy dives into work, relationships and purpose through witty dialogue and charming music. You won’t want to miss this high-energy cast of puppets and people singing their way through adulthood. Warning: This show is not appropriate for young children. Puppets reference sex, drinking, surfing the web for porn and other emotionally scarring content.

Avenue Q runs through October 8th, with previews September 13th and 14th. Preview seats are only $17.50! This show offers a specially priced matinee on Tuesday, September 26 at 2pm. All seats for this performance are only $22.50 per person, reserved seating. There is also a talk back with the cast after Sunday matinees.
